I had to share the funny story of Zakary's fear of falling trees. Weeks ago we went to my mom and Skips house and they live on the lake that is surrounded by trees. Zakary was taking a bath in mom's tub when we heard a huge "THUD!" My first reaction was I forgot to put the emergancy break on my truck, and it had backed into mom's truck. Thankfully that wasn't the case. One of the close by tree's had fallen. It was the weirdest thing.
Well, the next week it was storming and we were on our way up Tia's long driveway and Zakary is getting so nervous bc the winds were picking up and he was so afraid that the tree was going to fall on us. I explained to him that trees dont usually just fall down. He felt better but still scared of all the tree's around.
Well, we were heading home from her house and it was again storming. He again started stressing over all the nearby tree's. Well, as we pull into our driveway, we have one of our front yard pine tree's down. Roots and all everything out of the ground. Zakary quickly noticed and was scared the rest of the night that tree's were going to fall on him. Needless to say he slept with me that night and had night mares about falling tree's.
