Okay, so Chad and I have attempted nearly everything with our strong willed child as far as discipline. He thinks "time outs" are the easiest form of discipline and would do something wrong and then put himself in time out--not working. Then we tried the "wooden spoon". This worked for a minute. Then he started acting out and then going himself and getting the spoon for me. Then came the "soap in the mouth". This was very productive. Soap is everywhere! So, it was a great threat. But, literally every time I used this method he would gag until he threw up. So, probably not the best parenting. So, little did I know the "corner" would do wonders to Zakary's behavior. He absolutely HATES putting his nose in the corner. He wants to be able to see everything that is going on and can't see anything but the wall. So, our new found discipline is the "Nose in the corner method". There is a corner everywhere you go! No one told me that a 3 year old could be so hard to figure out!
